DJI Lito 1 is a compact, beginner-friendly camera drone designed for new pilots, content creators, and anyone who wants to capture remarkable aerial footage without dealing with complicated controls.

Featuring omnidirectional obstacle sensing, ActiveTrack subject tracking, a 48MP camera, 4K video recording, intelligent camera movements, and extended flight time, DJI Lito 1 turns complex aerial shots into simple, intuitive actions.

Forget the complexity. Just take off and start creating.

Approximately 249 g – Lightweight and Ready for Every Journey

With a standard takeoff weight of approximately 249 g, DJI Lito 1 is exceptionally convenient for travel, outdoor adventures, and everyday content creation.

When folded, the drone measures just 149 × 94 × 62 mm, making it small enough to fit comfortably inside a backpack, camera bag, or carry-on luggage without taking up unnecessary space.

Its lightweight design may also allow users to benefit from simpler operating requirements in many countries and regions. However, drone registration, pilot certification, and flight-zone regulations vary by location and should always be checked before flying.

When equipped with the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus, the total takeoff weight exceeds 249 g. Users should review local aviation regulations before operating the drone.

1/2-Inch CMOS Camera – Clear, Vibrant Aerial Imaging

DJI Lito 1 features a 1/2-inch CMOS sensor with an effective resolution of 48 megapixels, allowing it to capture landscapes, architecture, outdoor activities, and moving subjects with impressive clarity.

The camera uses a lens with a 79° field of view, a 26.2 mm equivalent focal length, and an f/1.8 aperture. This versatile setup is suitable for a wide range of shooting scenarios, from expansive natural scenery to dynamic subject-tracking sequences.

A three-axis mechanical gimbal stabilizes the camera across tilt, roll, and pan movements. This helps maintain smooth and steady footage when the drone changes direction or operates in light wind conditions.

48MP 8K Photos – Preserve Every Fine Detail

DJI Lito 1 captures photos at a maximum resolution of 8000 × 6000 pixels, equivalent to 48MP and commonly presented as 8K photography.

The high resolution gives users greater flexibility to zoom in, crop the composition, or reframe images during post-production while retaining an impressive level of detail.

This is particularly valuable when photographing landscapes, architectural structures, beaches, mountain roads, or scenes containing multiple visual layers.

The drone supports both JPEG and DNG RAW formats, making it suitable for users who want to share images immediately as well as creators who require more advanced color correction and editing.

Users can select 12MP images for SmartPhoto processing or switch to 48MP when maximum resolution is the priority.

4K/60fps Video – Capture Life’s Biggest Moments

DJI Lito 1 supports standard video recording at up to 4K/60fps, producing smooth motion and detailed footage for travel videos, vlogs, outdoor events, promotional content, and personal filmmaking.

Recording at 60 frames per second is particularly useful for scenes involving movement, including running, cycling, moving vehicles, ocean waves, or orbiting shots around a subject.

The additional frames also allow footage to be slowed down slightly during editing while maintaining fluid motion.

DJI Lito 1 records in MP4 format and supports both H.264 and H.265 encoding. With H.265, Normal color mode can record 10-bit 4:2:0 video, while the maximum supported video bitrate reaches 130 Mbps in compatible recording modes.

4K/100fps Slow Motion – Reveal Fleeting Moments

For fast-moving action, DJI Lito 1 supports slow-motion recording at up to 4K/100fps.

This capability makes it easier to capture athletes in motion, splashing water, fast-moving vehicles, breaking waves, and other details that may only appear for a fraction of a second.

The 4K/100fps footage is recorded using H.265 and played back as slow-motion video. Brief moments can therefore become dramatic visual highlights in travel films, sports videos, advertisements, and social media content.

2.7K Vertical Video – Optimized for Social Media

DJI Lito 1 supports vertical video at up to 1512 × 2688 resolution and 60fps, equivalent to a 2.7K vertical format.

The portrait orientation is optimized for smartphone viewing and direct publishing on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Reels.

Creators can move quickly from flying to editing and publishing without heavily cropping traditional horizontal footage.

Vertical video is digitally cropped from the camera sensor, so keeping the subject close to the center of the frame will generally produce the most effective composition.

ActiveTrack – Keep Your Subject Perfectly Framed

ActiveTrack enables DJI Lito 1 to automatically identify and follow a selected subject during flight.

Once the subject is chosen on the control screen, the drone adjusts its flight path while the camera remains focused on the target.

Forward tracking speeds can reach up to 12 m/s, while tracking in other directions supports speeds of approximately 8 m/s.

This allows DJI Lito 1 to follow runners, cyclists, and other moving subjects without requiring the pilot to perform complex manual movements continuously.

ActiveTrack is part of the FocusTrack system, which also includes Spotlight and Point of Interest.

These intelligent modes allow users to keep the camera focused on a subject, orbit around it, or follow its movement according to the desired creative result.

QuickShots – Cinematic Camera Movements With One Tap

QuickShots allows DJI Lito 1 to automatically perform a selection of classic aerial camera movements:

  • Dronie: The drone flies backward and upward while keeping the camera focused on the subject.

  • Rocket: The drone ascends vertically while the camera points downward.

  • Circle: The drone follows a circular flight path around the selected subject.

  • Helix: The drone spirals upward while gradually increasing its distance from the subject.

  • Boomerang: The drone follows an oval-shaped route before returning close to its starting position.

  • Asteroid: Multiple movements are combined to create a distinctive miniature-planet effect.

After the user selects a mode, the drone automatically follows the programmed route and records a dynamic short video.

QuickShots allows beginners to produce eye-catching footage without manually coordinating flight direction, altitude, distance, and camera orientation.

MasterShots – Automatically Film and Edit a Complete Sequence

MasterShots takes intelligent automation even further.

The drone analyzes the selected subject, distance, and surrounding environment before choosing a suitable sequence of flight paths and camera movements.

Instead of producing only one shot, MasterShots records multiple perspectives in succession and helps combine them into a polished video with a natural visual rhythm.

The feature is particularly useful for beginners, travel groups, and creators who need to produce a professional-looking location or lifestyle video quickly.

Hyperlapse – Transform Time Into Visual Storytelling

Hyperlapse captures a sequence of photos at predetermined intervals and automatically combines them into a fast-motion video.

Moving clouds, busy roads, sunrise, sunset, shifting shadows, and the rhythm of city life can be compressed into a visually striking short film.

Users can create impressive time-lapse sequences without manually processing and assembling hundreds of individual photographs.

Panorama – Expand Your Creative Perspective

DJI Lito 1 supports several panorama formats, including 180°, Wide-Angle, Vertical, and Sphere panoramas.

These modes allow users to capture a much broader view than a standard photograph, making them ideal for mountains, beaches, public squares, resorts, skylines, and other expansive environments.

Sphere Panorama creates an especially distinctive perspective and is well suited to immersive content, destination previews, and interactive visual experiences.

Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing – Fly With Greater Confidence

DJI Lito 1 features an omnidirectional monocular vision system combined with a downward infrared sensing system.

The drone can detect obstacles in front, behind, beside, above, and below its flight path. Depending on the selected settings in DJI Fly, it can assist with braking or automatically navigating around detected obstacles.

Forward obstacle detection operates at approximately 0.5 to 20 meters, while rear, side, upward, and downward detection operates at approximately 0.5 to 15 meters under suitable lighting and surface conditions.

The system helps reduce the pressure of flying near buildings, trees, and environments containing multiple obstacles.

Obstacle sensing is an assistance feature and does not replace the pilot’s responsibility to observe the surrounding environment.

The system may have difficulty detecting power lines, thin branches, water, glass, reflective surfaces, transparent objects, or obstacles in low-light conditions.

Obstacle avoidance is automatically disabled when Sport Mode is active.

DJI Simulator – Practice Before Your First Real Flight

Available for iOS and Android, the DJI Simulator app provides a virtual flight environment where beginners can become familiar with essential drone controls.

Users can practice takeoff, landing, altitude adjustment, turning, directional movement, and basic flight management from the comfort of home.

Training in a simulated environment can reduce anxiety and help new pilots develop better control habits before operating the drone outdoors.

Quick Takeoff and Reliable Return to Home

In dense urban areas where satellite signals may be weak, DJI Lito 1 can support quicker takeoff without requiring the user to wait excessively for a full satellite connection.

During the final stage of Return to Home, the drone may retrace its original outbound flight path under suitable conditions.

This provides the aircraft with an additional method of returning toward its takeoff location when satellite positioning is limited.

DJI Lito 1 also supports manually activated RTH, Low Battery RTH, and Failsafe RTH when the control signal is lost for a specified period.

Before flying, users should set the RTH altitude above surrounding buildings, trees, and other potential obstacles.

DJI O4 Video Transmission – Stable, Responsive Live Viewing

The DJI O4 video transmission system delivers a live camera view at up to 1080p/60fps, helping pilots monitor composition clearly and respond quickly to changes in the environment.

The maximum advertised transmission range is 15 km under the IC standard in an open outdoor environment without obstacles or signal interference.

Under CE, SRRC, and MIC standards, the maximum advertised range is 8 km.

Actual transmission distance may be significantly shorter due to buildings, trees, radio interference, terrain, and local flight regulations.

Up to 36 Minutes of Flight Time – More Time to Create

With the standard 2590 mAh Intelligent Flight Battery, DJI Lito 1 offers a maximum advertised flight time of up to 36 minutes.

When using the optional 4680 mAh Intelligent Flight Battery Plus, the maximum flight time can reach up to 52 minutes.

The Battery Plus is sold separately, increases the drone’s takeoff weight beyond 249 g, and may not be available or supported in certain markets, including some European regions and the United Kingdom.

These maximum figures are measured under controlled testing conditions.

In DJI’s typical-use test involving 4K/60fps recording, the reference operating time is approximately 23 minutes with the standard battery and 37 minutes with the Battery Plus.

Actual flight time depends on wind, temperature, flight speed, obstacle-avoidance activity, camera use, and overall operating conditions.

Wi-Fi 6 QuickTransfer – Move Your Footage Faster

DJI Lito 1 supports QuickTransfer through Wi-Fi 6, with a maximum advertised download speed of up to 50 MB/s under low-interference laboratory conditions.

Photos and videos can be transferred directly from the drone to a smartphone without connecting the remote controller.

QuickTransfer can also operate while the drone is in sleep mode, making it more convenient to access and download footage after a flight.

DJI Lito 1 does not include internal storage. Photos and videos must be saved to a compatible microSD card.

The drone supports the exFAT file system, and DJI recommends using compatible A2 V30 microSD cards for reliable recording performance.

Three-Battery Parallel Charging – Spend Less Time Waiting

The DJI Lito 1 Charging Hub can charge three batteries of the same type simultaneously when connected to a compatible Power Delivery charger rated at 45 W or higher.

When paired with the DJI 65W Portable Charger, three standard Intelligent Flight Batteries can be fully charged in approximately 87 minutes.

Three Intelligent Flight Battery Plus units require approximately 130 minutes under DJI’s testing conditions.

The Charging Hub can also transfer remaining power from several batteries into the battery with the highest charge level, helping users prepare one battery for the next flight more efficiently.

Level 5 Wind Resistance – Greater Stability Outdoors

DJI Lito 1 supports a maximum wind-speed resistance of 10.7 m/s, commonly described by DJI as Level 5 wind resistance.

This helps the drone maintain a stable hover and produce more reliable footage in moderately windy outdoor environments.

However, wind gusts, coastal winds, and wind conditions at higher altitudes can be considerably stronger than those measured at the takeoff location.

Flying in stronger wind may also reduce battery life and make it more difficult for the drone to return safely.

Three Flight Modes for Different Levels of Control

DJI Lito 1 offers Cine, Normal, and Sport flight modes to accommodate different shooting situations and pilot experience levels.

Cine Mode prioritizes slow and controlled movement, making it ideal for smooth cinematic footage.

Normal Mode provides a balanced combination of speed, stability, and responsive handling.

Sport Mode increases the maximum horizontal speed to up to 18 m/s, making it suitable for experienced pilots who need to follow faster subjects.

Obstacle avoidance is automatically disabled in Sport Mode. This mode should only be used in wide, open areas that are free of people, buildings, trees, and other obstacles.
